		<official-title>To direct the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a
		  special resource study to determine the suitability and feasibility of
		  including the Washington Family Legacy Lands of Jefferson County, West
		  Virginia, as part of Harpers Ferry National Historical Park or designating the
		  lands as a separate unit of the National Park System, and for other
		  purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="H4C3A81280AB8495B979965E0217600AA" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>National park system special
			 resource study, Washington family legacy lands, Jefferson county, west
			 Virginia</header>
			<subsection id="HD36ACF54738643EA87E5D93300624125"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Special
			 Resources Study</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary
			 of the Interior shall conduct a special resource study relating to the
			 Washington Family Legacy Lands in Jefferson County, West Virginia.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H7D97720F1CC04C2B801C921C7BD6A726"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Contents</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In conducting the study, the Secretary
			 shall evaluate—</text>
				<paragraph id="H81843EDCCF4D4BBAA5D7D404AC97CBA3"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the national significance of the Washington
			 Family Legacy Lands; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HD7195C8AD94C42E7A53467D03F00F986"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the suitability and feasibility of adding
			 the Washington Family Legacy Lands as part of Harpers Ferry National Historical
			 Park or designating the Washington Family Legacy Lands as a separate unit of
			 the National Park System.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H0B12F3BAB4F54CBA901515F5B799D500"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Criteria</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The criteria for a study of areas for
			 potential inclusion in the National Park System contained in Section 8 of
			 <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/91/383">Public Law 91–383</external-xref> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/1a">16 U.S.C. 1a–5</external-xref>) shall apply to the study.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HF46EDD6B94884813B178005B9D7089E4"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Report</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 1 year after the date of the
			 enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Natural
			 Resources of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Energy and
			 Natural Resources of the Senate a report containing the findings, conclusions,
			 and recommendations of the study.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H1228963C11574563A432941DD3E92ED"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Definition</header><text>In
			 this Act, the term <term>Washington Family Legacy Lands</term> means—</text>
				<paragraph id="H0FB2F1C8EAD6451FA700130070832762"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the Blakeley Mansion estate, comprising
			 approximately 110 acres and located at 24 Blakeley Farm Lane, Jefferson County,
			 West Virginia;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HF4BBD0EA4B34482DBAF38300BD631827"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the Bullskin Plantation (also known as Rock
			 Hall), comprising approximately 447 acres and located at 4356 Summit Point
			 Road, Jefferson County, West Virginia;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HD5C08658E8FB4CD49F11786BBAE18DDB"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the Claymont Court Mansion estate,
			 comprising approximately 345 acres and located at 577 Claymont Mansion Drive,
			 Jefferson County, West Virginia; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H846434D9355949668F52EECFEB402614"><enum>(4)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the Happy Retreat estate, comprising
			 approximately 12.5 acres and located at 600 Mordington Avenue, Charles Town,
			 Jefferson County, West Virginia.</text>
