			 period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for
			 consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the

		<official-title>To amend part B of title XVIII of the Social Security Act
		  to provide coverage for the shingles vaccine under the Medicare
		  Program.</official-title>

		<section id="H8DE6715691BC406C866B0497C5A8E034" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short Title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote>Shingles
			 Prevention Act</quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H389374CECD234F2989E9DD42B90015EA"><enum>2.</enum><header>Addition of the
			 Shingles Vaccine under the Medicare program</header>
			<subsection id="H3597C44BA99E4C8AA0987FBC4F7D51DC"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Shingles
			 Vaccine</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 1861 of the
			 Social Security Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/1395x">42 U.S.C. 1395x</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
				<paragraph id="H9005E05AF9FD43E9B90946444D409FDB"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subsection
			 (s)(10)(A), by striking <quote>pneumococcal vaccine and its administration
			 and,</quote> and inserting <quote>pneumococcal vaccine and its administration,
			 shingles vaccine and its administration, and</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H26744562A9C6411DBC2D185D306453D6"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (ww)(2)(A), by inserting
			 <quote>shingles,</quote> after <quote>influenza,</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HD523E78467D646928912ED54FE00387F"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 Date</header><text>The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply to
			 shingles vaccines furnished on or after January 1 of the first year beginning
			 more than 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
