<section id="H35F5F93C47A94ADDB7B900F15615B10" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as—</text>
<paragraph id="H12E29815688845EAB31EA63D9D5935CD"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the <quote><short-title>Strengthening United States Technology And Innovation Now Act</short-title></quote>; or</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H934E24F1E96F4C51A890F3E9062D094E"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the <quote>SUSTAIN Act</quote>.</text></paragraph></section>
<section id="H3514CEFD68F14F99BD3CFB1413AD6DCD"><enum>2.</enum><header>Temporary increase in numerical limitation</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Notwithstanding section 214(g)(1)(A)(vii) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1184">8 U.S.C. 1184(g)(1)(A)(vii)</external-xref>), the total number of aliens who may be issued visas or otherwise provided nonimmigrant status under section 101(a)(15)(H)(i)(b) of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1101">8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(15)(H)(i)(b)</external-xref>) during fiscal years 2008 and 2009 is 195,000.</text></section>
