		<official-title>To provide for the liquidation or reliquidation of
		  entries of certain manufacturing equipment.</official-title>

		<section id="H72A3273A37934511932D12B7EC70E400" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Certain manufacturing
			 equipment entered on or after May 11, 1997, and before October 21,
			 1998</header>
			<subsection id="H38BDA310754348A4B62DB5DE51D1D74E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Notwithstanding sections 514 and 520 of the Tariff Act of
			 1930 (19 U.S.C. 1514 and 1520) or any other provision of law, not later than 90
			 days after the receipt of the request described in subsection (b), any
			 article—</text>
				<paragraph id="H2B384A0C4F034FE2AD648EB61D49526F"><enum>(1)</enum><text>that was entered,
			 or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption—</text>
					<subparagraph id="H75CDF487E4E24EAD8C6B0200398062D3"><enum>(A)</enum><text>on or after May
			 11, 1997; and</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HCFB46B9CF6084CE9A507FB1BF4A70069"><enum>(B)</enum><text>before October 21,
			 1998; and</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HA2D521C588D94D369F30C8DD929102A2"><enum>(2)</enum><text>with respect to
			 which heading 9902.84.89 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States
			 would have applied if such article had been entered, or withdrawn from
			 warehouse for consumption, on December 31, 2001,</text>
				</paragraph><continuation-text continuation-text-level="subsection">shall be
			 liquidated or reliquidated as if such heading 9902.84.89 applied to such entry
			 or withdrawal, and the Secretary of the Treasury shall refund any excess duty
			 paid with respect to such entry.</continuation-text></subsection><subsection id="HB883B3C7A3EC4996A120EF88D1F7A4BA"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Requests</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Liquidation or reliquidation may be made
			 under subsection (a) with respect to any entry only if a request therefor is
			 filed with the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection of the Department of
			 Homeland Security, not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of
			 this Act, that contains sufficient information to enable the Bureau of Customs
			 and Border Protection—</text>
				<paragraph id="H1C23B593D37F4C78A8C7645087A1466E"><enum>(1)</enum><text>to locate the
			 entry; or</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H472D59926BF24D5CBCD1751347B70004"><enum>(2)</enum><text>to reconstruct the
			 entry if it cannot be located.</text>
