		<official-title>To provide that no Federal or State requirement to
		  increase energy efficient lighting in public buildings shall require a
		  hospital, school, day care center, mental health facility, or nursing home to
		  install or utilize such energy efficient lighting if the lighting contains
		  mercury.</official-title>

		<section id="H93717C5970D4459A847E149877AAFAF" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Mercury-containing
			 lighting</header>
			<subsection id="HAE3865C7BD62499993507B46E9D5E53F"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Title III of the Energy Independence and
			 Security Act of 2007 is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 section:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HF92D6502591C4348BA44CAE2F7DEF5B" style="OLC">
					<section id="HA0B27F9CBF214DBAB7907653991CFD1F"><enum>326.</enum><header>Mercury-containing
				lighting</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Notwithstanding
				sections 321 through 325, and the amendments made by those sections, no Federal
				or State requirement to increase energy efficient lighting in public buildings
				shall require a hospital, school, day care center, mental health facility, or
				nursing home to install or utilize such energy efficient lighting if the
				lighting contains
				mercury.</text>

			 contents amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The table
			 of contents for the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 is amended by
			 adding at the end of the items relating to title III the following new
			 item:</text>
