		<section id="HB5E7324B800A4ECEB727A6E05068F150" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short Title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote>Safe
			 Toys Act</quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HE02F7BB5BE2A431A854B83EBC188951D"><enum>2.</enum><header>Maximum Civil
			 Penalties of the Consumer Product Safety Commission</header>
			<subsection id="H2F1A1EE48ACB4CA79C41007280237370"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Consumer Product
			 Safety Act</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 20(a)(1)
			 of the Consumer Product Safety Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/2069">15 U.S.C. 2069(a)(1)</external-xref>) is amended by
			 striking <quote>$1,250,000</quote> both places it appears and inserting
			 <quote>$10,000,000</quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HA8C80EE3BFB6444AA93460F25ED602B3"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Federal
			 Hazardous Substances Act</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 5(c)(1) of the Federal Hazardous
			 Substances Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/1264">15 U.S.C. 1264(c)(1)</external-xref>) is amended by striking
			 <quote>$1,250,000</quote> both places it appears and inserting
			 <quote>$10,000,000</quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H6EB2F0B5A42D440F97CFCEAA4D3EE9DD"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Flammable
			 Fabrics Act</header><text>Section 5(e)(1) of the Flammable Fabrics Act (15
			 U.S.C. 1194(e)(1)) is amended by striking <quote>$1,250,000</quote> and
			 inserting <quote>$10,000,000</quote>.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="HED2B18CE1FDE48EAB3FE1FB2048BBB65"><enum>3.</enum><header>Certification of
			 Compliance of Products with Consumer Product Safety Rules</header>
			<subsection id="HCFBFD7F7BEFB4D44A62C3F34253B8300"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Expansion of
			 Certification Requirement</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subsection (a)(1) of section 14 of the
			 Consumer Product Safety Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/2063">15 U.S.C. 2063(a)(1)</external-xref>) is amended by—</text>
				<paragraph id="HF3844FE1061B430192DC7C7B55AFB7C2"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">striking <quote>consumer product safety
			 standard under this Act</quote> and inserting <quote>consumer product safety
			 rule under this Act or a similar rule under any other Act enforced by the
			 Commission</quote>;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H4F285DA9E8404AAC80907EC1E2D30234"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">striking <quote>Such certificate
			 shall</quote> and inserting <quote>A certificate required under this subsection
			 shall</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HE490526F81A44B73A59309FD00624F30"><enum>(3)</enum><text>adding at the end
			 the following new sentence: <quote>Every manufacturer required to issue a
			 certificate under this subsection shall transmit a copy of such certificate to
			 the Commission.</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H11CC1572130D425CAF7FF725CF14759"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Expansion of
			 tests or testing programs</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subsection (b) of section 14 of the
			 Consumer Product Safety Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/2063">15 U.S.C. 2063(b)</external-xref>) is amended by striking
			 <quote>consumer product safety standards under this Act</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>consumer product safety rules under this Act or similar rules under any
			 other Act enforced by the Commission</quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H07E32B420A5E400B9ECFCC7E00B95B9F"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Listing of
			 Certified Products</header>
				<paragraph id="H7016F2E28D8944AEB8DEBA32F06654D"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Website
			 Listing</header><text>The Consumer Product Safety Commission shall post and
			 maintain, in a clear and conspicuous location on its Internet Website, a
			 current list of all products for which certificates have been transmitted to
			 the Commission under section 14(a)(1) of the Consumer Product Safety Act (15
			 U.S.C. 2063(a)(1)).</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H817EC454FE904D26AD83DE15C7485900"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Other
			 Listing</header><text>In addition to the Website listing required under
			 paragraph (1), the Consumer Product Safety Commission may maintain and publish
			 or submit for publication a list of all products for which certificates have
			 been transmitted to the Commission under section 14(a)(1) of the Consumer
			 Product Safety Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/15/2063">15 U.S.C. 2063(a)(1)</external-xref>).</text>
				</paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body>
