<section id="H6A89ECA0AEE3479FA37794729D49FBD2" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>CONTINUED FEDERAL EMPLOYMENT STATUS FOR CHRISTOPHER FREKING</header> 
<subsection id="HF0606D1CE13B4A6CA48400C38D6674C8"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In General</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/3328">section 3328</external-xref> of title 5, United States Code, Christopher Freking shall be deemed to be eligible for appointment to a position in an Executive agency.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HB052AE04196D4B129CB31F80C6A12D9E"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Adjustment to Status</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Notwithstanding <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/3328">section 3328</external-xref> of title 5, United States Code, Christopher Freking shall be considered to have been lawfully appointed and continuously employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs since April 29, 1991.</text> </subsection></section>
