		<official-title>To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow the
		  deduction for property taxes in determining the amount of the alternative
		  minimum taxable income of any taxpayer (other than a
		  corporation).</official-title>

		<section id="H52B0A0C7681248ECAD3358B87003CD59" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Homeowners Property Tax Relief Act of
			 2007</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HEE589588ADAD469883FF10F6002C4D3E" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Deduction for property
			 taxes allowed in determining individual alternative minimum taxable
			 income</header>
			<subsection id="H2D14A36EDD814D75A3F26838CF347927"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Clause (ii) of section 56(b)(1)(A) of the Internal
			 Revenue Code of 1986 (relating to general limitation on deductions applicable
			 to individuals) is amended by striking <quote>(1), (2), or</quote>.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="HE5CD854A0495459B9C52DBA63DE4E00"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply to taxable
			 years beginning after December 31, 2006.</text>
