		<official-title>To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to require
		  the use of DNA testing for purposes of confirming a biological relationship,
		  and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HA5B9D30BD4F447DEBDF5ADC29109CA93" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Requirement of DNA testing
			 for aliens seeking visas based on a biological relationship</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 221(d) of the Immigration and
			 Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1201">8 U.S.C. 1201(d)</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
			<paragraph id="HF80703FDFEA5490DB080AB113ED4A400"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>(d)</quote> and inserting <quote>(d)(1)</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HDFD34BF0690D448CBD8DC15F057DDBD5"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the
			 end the following new paragraph:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H964A01460A98450990BA0756B9E0016D" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="HB864D22FA43C461200DF5F171256B902" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Prior to the issuance of an immigrant visa
				to an alien that is predicated on a biological relationship to a family member,
				the consular officer shall require such alien to submit the results of DNA
				testing in order to confirm that the purported biological relationship is not
				inconsistent with the
				results.</text>
					</paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</paragraph></section><section id="H6E8492838D254B6BA01C9F398281C1B7"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authorization of
			 fees</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Secretary of Homeland
			 Security is authorized to adjust the fees collected from aliens described in
			 section 221(d)(2) of the the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C.
			 1201(d)(2)), as added by section 1 of this Act, in order to carry out such
			 section.</text>
		</section><section id="HB4ECE242B6B64E85BC65A02088C0346"><enum>3.</enum><header>Testing
			 facilities</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Secretary of
			 Homeland Security, in consultation with the Secretary of State, shall
			 promulgate regulations with respect to the facilities where DNA testing is
			 authorized to be performed, as required by section 221(d)(2) of the the
			 Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1201">8 U.S.C. 1201(d)(2)</external-xref>), as added by section 1 of
			 this Act.</text>
