		<legis-type>A BILL</legis-type>
		<official-title>To require that funds awarded to States and political
		  subdivisions for the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program be distributed no
		  later than 120 days after the last day of the annual application period for
		  such Program.</official-title>

		<section id="H55356FE1C63441328D51C1E5538C9DD5" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Distribution of SCAAP
			 awards</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 241(i) of the
			 Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1231">8 U.S.C. 1231(i)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the
			 end the following new paragraph:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H3494162B5741412183BF007CAF9D835C" style="OLC">
				<paragraph id="H67E79BAA2F534314BB71D4B4B0F55224"><enum>(7)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any funds awarded to a State or political
				subdivision of a State, including a municipality, for a fiscal year under this
				subsection shall be distributed to such State or political subdivision not
				later than 120 days after the last day of the application period for assistance
				under this subsection for that fiscal
				year.</text>
