		  Nation of Indians of the Carolinas from seeking Federal recognition as an
		  Indian tribe, and for other purposes.</official-title>

		<section id="HEBFC1F0A1EF046A58D80F941C5CF74E2" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Tuscarora Nation of Indians
			 of the Carolinas Federal recognition process</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Neither the Lumbee Act of June 7, 1956
			 (Public Law 570) nor the federally recognized status of any Indian tribe shall
			 prevent the Tuscarora Nation of Indians of the Carolinas from seeking or
			 attaining Federal recognition as an Indian tribe through—</text>
			<paragraph id="H22D37D5ECB7247BAB631F46D17410749"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the administrative
			 procedures set forth in part 83 of title 25, Code of Federal
			 Regulations;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H08573D79DD3748D8A6412290D520C300"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Federal law;
			 or</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H848041821FB440C4973648ED571FB3CD"><enum>(3)</enum><text>any other means
			 provided under law.</text>
