		<official-title>To amend title 18, United States Code, to provide
		  penalties for transporting the corpses of homicide victims across State lines
		  with intent to prevent their use as evidence.</official-title>

		<section id="H3DB1CBDC12C64685A87B593DD067C82" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Mickey Wright
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HD1F7CFCA4B4C4E26B32EB9C2F6BD10A7"><enum>2.</enum><header>Transportation of
			 homicide victim’s corpse across State lines</header>
			<subsection id="H5A136A23D3BA4EFA89CAAFBB9B713181"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/18/51">Chapter 51</external-xref> of title 18, United States Code, is amended by
			 adding at the end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H59646272B87F4A82A3C93131AAF2A761" style="USC">
					<section id="H010142136E17436EAFFF4020ACC61800"><enum>1153.</enum><header>Transportation
				of homicide victim’s corpse across State lines</header>
						<subsection id="HCE24BE8BCF364BD0AE40621DAC097040"><enum>(a)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Whoever knowingly transports or attempts to
				transport any portion of the corpse of a homicide victim across a State line
				with intent to prevent its use as evidence in a criminal prosecution related to
				the homicide shall be fined under this title, imprisoned for life or any term
				of years, or both.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H143AD6665C2E40D8BCBD1B9B004EF99F"><enum>(b)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The defendant shall serve a sentence of
				imprisonment imposed under this section consecutively to any sentence of
				imprisonment imposed in relation to the underlying homicide.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H7B85DADEB9C0453EBD059469F700D7A8"><enum>(c)</enum><text>As used in this
				section the term <quote>homicide</quote> means any killing which is criminally
				punishable in the place it
				occurs.</text>
						</subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="HE6E2BC638EEC47E4B3726D606390C1FA"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical
			 amendment</header><text>The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 51 of
			 title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 item:</text>
