		<official-title>To amend title 10, United States Code, to provide for the
		  transfer of certain contact information for a member of the Armed Forces who is
		  being medically separated or retired under chapter 61 of such title to the
		  department or agency for veterans affairs of the State in which the member
		  intends to reside.</official-title>

		<section id="H4527EBDC45FC4CF498EBEF33100325D" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Wounded Warrior Information Sharing
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H492E8D071E0040ECA0578238B8EAEF19"><enum>2.</enum><header>Transfer of
			 member contact information to State departments and agencies for veterans
			 affairs</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1142 of title
			 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 subsection:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HD32371304CD74AE4A9148E2E3DF6C75C" style="OLC">
				<subsection id="H33E7DBFA6CD7490C8CA5DEC64079356E"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Transfer of
				contact information to State departments and agencies for veterans
				affairs</header><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H332F9944FF234F1497BBCBB83F8CF135"><enum>(1)</enum><text>In
				the case of a member being medically separated or being retired under chapter
				61 of this title, the Secretary concerned shall ensure (subject to the consent
				of the member) that the member’s address and contact information is transmitted
				within 30 days of the separation or retirement to the department or agency for
				veterans affairs of the State in which the member intends to reside after the
				separation or retirement.</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="H7DC6C1B8EF584E7399F3F909BE417913" indent="up1"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In this subsection, the term
				<quote>State</quote> includes the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of
				Puerto Rico, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and any
				territory or possession of the United
				States.</text>
