		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H270E0D4592D7425F9D5BDA01D9425D97" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Second Higher Education Extension Act
			 of 2007</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HFBCAFC202A624C09BC3F1528E477FB17"><enum>2.</enum><header>Extension of
			 programs</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2(a) of the
			 Higher Education Extension Act of 2005 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/109/81">Public Law 109–81</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/20/1001">20 U.S.C. 1001</external-xref> note)
			 is amended by striking <quote>July 31, 2007</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>September 30, 2007</quote>.</text>
		</section><section commented="no" id="H007D4DFF5D214071922DF4B52DDFF71F"><enum>3.</enum><header>Rule of
			 construction</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Nothing in this
			 Act, or in the Higher Education Extension Act of 2005 as amended by this Act,
			 shall be construed to limit or otherwise alter the authorizations of
			 appropriations for, or the durations of, programs contained in the amendments
			 made by the Higher Education Reconciliation Act of 2005 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/109/171">Public Law 109–171</external-xref>) to
			 the provisions of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and the Taxpayer-Teacher
			 Protection Act of 2004.</text>
