<official-title>To amend the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 to reform funding for the Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, and for other purposes.</official-title>

<section id="H4949B5DFBD28462C804993C838783B7" section-type="section-one" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header>Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program</header> 
<subsection id="H2189783198B14886B7ED1E1131BD12E1"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Funding</header><text>Subsection (a) of section 4402 of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/7/3007">7 U.S.C. 3007</external-xref>; <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/171">Public Law 107–171</external-xref>; 116 Stat. 334) is amended to read as follows: </text> 
<quoted-block style="OLC" id="HA690E40209994DF9A45CDF41C2CC0EF" display-inline="no-display-inline"> 
<subsection id="H24301BB16D284EAEA2F7007BCCBAD42F"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Establishment</header><text>The Secretary of Agriculture shall use funds available to the Commodity Credit Corporation to carry out and expand a seniors farmers’ market nutrition program in the following amounts:</text> 
<paragraph id="H858DC0668D6C49F485A3BE580360F265"><enum>(1)</enum><text>For fiscal year 2007, not less than $25,000,000.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HCFE77488DAFF4C7D9F01654B6B287DD6"><enum>(2)</enum><text>For fiscal year 2008, not less than $50,000,000.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H7A0BC25EE8F342DFAF05C39BC5293BED"><enum>(3)</enum><text>For fiscal year 2009, not less than $75,000,000.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HF01068648CDB4746AAAB3972C8972F56"><enum>(4)</enum><text>For fiscal years 2010 through 2012, not less than $100,000,000.</text></paragraph></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> 
<subsection id="H895B14916878498FA0FB333779C466BE"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Purposes</header><text>Subsection (b)(1) of such section is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H6CA5A9A36FF94A10AD126D1E28C6C300"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>unprepared</quote> and inserting <quote>minimally processed</quote>; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H93B70C580B8A4676BB3ED46E943B531"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking <quote>and herbs</quote> and inserting <quote>herbs, and other locally produced farm products as the Secretary considers appropriate</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="H053E6D38DFF448C4AB075E00CB216D00"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Administrative costs; unexpended funds</header><text>Such section is further amended by adding at the end the following new subsections:</text>

<subsection id="HEA9B1CA9B7B44BFE81A2BDDC3F76482D"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Administrative Costs</header><text>Not more than 10 percent of the funds made available for a fiscal year under subsection (a) may be used to pay administrative costs incurred in carrying out this section.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HFB813E9BBF0D44D79ED1ADFC8C22DD89"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Unexpended funds</header><text>To the extent the funds made available under subsection (a) for a fiscal year are not expended in that fiscal year, the Secretary may use such funds in a subsequent fiscal year for the same purpose.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection></section>
