		<official-title>To amend the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 and
		  title 5, United States Code, to allow leave for individuals who provide living
		  organ donations.</official-title>

		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H9683FD1C8AB148000004CAAE6B1D86E2" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Living Organ Donor Job Security
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H69447ACFA67D4127B7507965A13567F5"><enum>2.</enum><header>Leave for living
			 organ donation</header>
			<subsection id="HCAB38444DFB34EE187A93CB59F811E76"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Leave
			 requirement</header><text>Section 102(a)(1) of the Family and Medical Leave Act
			 of 1993 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/2612">29 U.S.C. 2612(a)</external-xref>) and <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/6382">section 6382(a)(1)</external-xref> of title 5, United States
			 Code, are each amended by adding at the end the following new
			 subparagraph:</text>
				<quoted-block id="HB43A737C006346758D627EC20014F9BD">
					<subparagraph id="H6BCA5DFC5E94415EB03D98432436E271"><enum>(E)</enum><text>In order to
				provide a living organ donation, including time spent for—</text>
						<clause id="H0AFC69FEBAB948E7AAABA2E683B7F2FA"><enum>(i)</enum><text>tests used to
				determine whether the eligible employee is medically suitable for live organ
				donation;</text>
						</clause><clause id="H77F1A994F61E4D12A556A5758D56FAB6"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>physical,
				psychological, and social evaluations of the live donor;</text>
						</clause><clause id="H0E4CBC2D1DD3448B9BB45B99F332002E"><enum>(iii)</enum><text>pretransplant
				outpatient services;</text>
						</clause><clause id="H5EF15DCE14404C718C1458B2546E55DB"><enum>(iv)</enum><text>postoperative
				inpatient and outpatient transplantation services;</text>
						</clause><clause id="H3823133962934BE794208FB8658C1B42"><enum>(v)</enum><text>travel in
				connection with tests, evaluations, and services described in clauses (i)
				through (iv); and</text>
						</clause><clause id="HE4F2676B363B4DE0996FB3F1D4571772"><enum>(vi)</enum><text>recuperation
				consistent with the type of transplant
				performed.</text>
						</clause></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="H8604EEC76A794A0CA43B7B44FFD4B335"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Certification</header>
				<paragraph id="H7DCF59B5648F47E999E85104D62115DB"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Non-federal
			 employees</header><text>The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (29 U.S.C.
			 2611 et seq.) is further amended by striking <quote>section
			 102(a)(1)(D)</quote> and inserting <quote>subparagraph (D) or (E) of section
			 102(a)(1)</quote> in the following sections, respectively:</text>
					<subparagraph id="H51F9FFCFB236418A808737266FC4F756"><enum>(A)</enum><text>Section
			 103(b)(4)(B) (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/2613">29 U.S.C. 2613(b)(4)(B)</external-xref>).</text>
					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="HC1CB23853D12468C98DE79FD72A86BE8"><enum>(B)</enum><text>Section
			 104(c)(3)(A)(ii) (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/2614">29 U.S.C. 2614(c)(3)(A)(ii)</external-xref>).</text>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="HDD2C9A2AF2A14A7A9EB1B22742ADDD7D"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Federal
			 employees</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/6383">Section 6383(b)(4)(B)</external-xref> of title 5, United States Code is
			 amended by striking <quote>section 6382(a)(1)(D)</quote> and inserting
			 <quote>subparagraph (D) or (E) of section 6382(a)(1)</quote>.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="HBC9D77F04A3442F7868E129D003FACDB"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Conforming
			 amendments</header>
				<paragraph id="HDB4F4129C8694A84BBD81CF079B68C93"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Non-federal
			 employees</header><text>The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (29 U.S.C.
			 2611 et seq.) is further amended—</text>
					<subparagraph id="H378440C30CBB4D3AAB87FBCC1E361734"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking
			 <quote>(C) or (D)</quote> each place it appears and inserting <quote>(C), (D),
			 or (E)</quote> in—</text>
						<clause id="HF6182AED167F4424B600F563FBBB6C6"><enum>(i)</enum><text>section 102(b)(1)
			 and (2) (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/2612">29 U.S.C. 2612(b)(1)</external-xref> and (2));</text>
						</clause><clause id="H371E9AEA21F04237A1535EE1A2373766"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>section 102(e)(2)
			 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/2612">29 U.S.C. 2612(e)(2)</external-xref>);</text>

			 103(c)(1) (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/2613">29 U.S.C. 2613(c)(1)</external-xref>);</text>

			 or (E)</quote> in—</text>

			 6383(b)(5), by inserting <quote>(including living organ donation)</quote> after

			 6384(d), by striking <quote>section 6382(a)(1)(D)</quote> and inserting
