		<official-title>To amend the Public Health Service Act to extend
		  preventive-health and research programs with respect to prostate
		  cancer.</official-title>

		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HAC15101FF5BA4BD384003E37512DB38F" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Prostate Cancer Research and
			 Prevention Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HED214F35E1CE4840A2E63DD5028B1EC1"><enum>2.</enum><header>Amendments to
			 the<act-name parsable-cite="PHSA"> Public Health Service
			 Act</act-name></header>
			<subsection id="HF3132DE61E694648B02214C217D9D522"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Preventive
			 health measures</header><text>Section 317D of the
			 <act-name parsable-cite="PHSA">Public Health Service Act</act-name> (42 U.S.C.
			 247b–5) is amended by striking subsection (l)(1) and inserting the
			 following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H6736FE9EEC9243079B78F9D16F9FE2C1" style="OLC">
					<paragraph id="H4E88A5A82459468ABF0000543BE3D498"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
				general</header><text>For the purpose of carrying out this section, there are
				authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary for each of the
				fiscal years 2004 through
				2012.</text>
					</paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="HF29A5C39AF994DE797594EC88BD9F144"><enum>(b)</enum><header>National
			 institutes of health</header><text>Section 417A of the
			 <act-name parsable-cite="PHSA">Public Health Service Act</act-name> (42 U.S.C.
			 285a–7) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H60BFB58FA9A94FA18DF53BEE3E901C2F" style="OLC">
					<subsection id="H12FB3EAEA0BD4B2986E11D41E8562852"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Authorization of
				appropriations</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">For purposes
				of carrying out this section, there are authorized to be appropriated such sums
				as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2008 through 2012. Such
				authorization of appropriations shall be in addition to the authorization of
				appropriations established in section
				402A(a).</text>
