		<official-title>To amend title 18, United States Code, to prohibit
		  certain computer-assisted remote hunting, and for other
		  purposes.</official-title>

		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HB402E09FAE2C4DE898791E4FB16477C4" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Computer-Assisted Remote Hunting
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H64ADCE9B7EF24707A6939DB84E498EC6" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Computer-assisted
			 remote hunting facilities</header>
			<subsection id="HAB16CE26AF8C42FEA946E624954E86E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Offense</header><text>Chapter
			 3 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the
			 following:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H371449A352E04086A264F642969976A9" style="USC">
					<section id="H32EC2F75C3D34B52826F1597BCDDACEB"><enum>49.</enum><header>Computer-assisted
				remote hunting</header>
						<subsection id="H6DA3F88DCE1B4FBE8BA9AF7FE5007418"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Prohibition</header><text>Whoever,
				using any instrumentality of interstate or foreign commerce, knowingly makes
				available a computer-assisted remote hunt shall be fined under this title or
				imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H68BF64127DF04A4D8D92EEDCD09E73B1"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Exception</header><text>Providing
				an instrumentality of commerce, such as equipment or access to the Internet, is
				not a violation of this section unless the provider intends the use of the
				equipment or access for a computer-assisted remote hunt.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H444A70C7296C4205A89FE91E2D6FFCBF"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Construction
				with other law</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Nothing in
				this section limits the power of State and local authorities to enact laws or
				regulations concerning computer-assisted remote hunting facilities.</text>
						</subsection><subsection id="H31469C2996584D8488DC3CAC5BCACAC4"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text>In
				this section—</text>
							<paragraph id="H29CB7CFD4AA747D68EE4AB508998E97C"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the term
				<term>computer-assisted remote hunt</term> means any use of a computer or any
				other device, equipment, or software, to allow a person remotely to control the
				aiming and discharge of a weapon so as to kill or injure an animal while not in
				the physical presence of the targeted animal; and</text>
							</paragraph><paragraph id="H64979D59CA3E4E62961FBAA515DCFB3F"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the term
				<term>instrumentality of interstate commerce</term> means any written, wire,
				radio, television, or other form of communication in, or using a facility of,
				interstate
				commerce.</text>
							</paragraph></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection id="HB7CCE005178A4868BD0749003129C327"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Clerical
			 Amendment</header><text>The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 3 of
			 title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 item:</text>
