		<section id="H47E38AFB89F54146A22F9B74D14C3F60" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote>Sunset
			 of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/243">Public Law 107–243</external-xref> Act of 2007</quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H3256BA08762F4EA781AACF8E52CDA2A2" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Sunset of Public Law
			 107–243</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Authorization for
			 Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/243">Public Law 107–243</external-xref>) is
			 amended by adding at the end the following new section:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H6BCDE6B8D59343A5A74929FAEDBA933" style="OLC">
				<section id="H97D1E8AAB4E74E18B7D9AD07E7DCD8BB"><enum>5.</enum><header>Sunset</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This joint resolution shall cease to be
				effective beginning 180 days after the date of the enactment of the Sunset of
				<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/243">Public Law 107–243</external-xref> Act of
				2007.</text>
				</section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
		</section><section id="HCEDA2A0A2A9443DA86DFAD6538AB1859"><enum>3.</enum><header>Rule of
			 construction</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Nothing in the
			 amendment made by section 2 of this Act shall be construed to prevent or
			 prohibit Congress in the 180-day period beginning on the date of the enactment
			 of this Act from—</text>
			<paragraph id="HD7133C8C3D9A48F5ABF5CB74094FF67C"><enum>(1)</enum><text>reauthorizing
			 <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/243">Public Law 107–243</external-xref>, with or without amendment, as appropriate; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="H85495DD54FDE44A5B693B7FC6EA42991"><enum>(2)</enum><text>passing a new
			 authorization for the use of military force against Iraq or a declaration of
			 war against Iraq, as appropriate.</text>
