<section id="H4F0D3A21398849DD8545581C68961932" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Extension of post-employment restrictions</header>
<subsection id="H6AC2AFA990AA49CEA2EEF5661D929839"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Extension</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/18/207">Section 207(e)(1)(A)</external-xref> of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking <quote>1 year</quote> and inserting <quote>2 years</quote>.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="HC9D782C74CB9448CB454A734CCBA4953"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply to any individual who leaves office (to which the restrictions in <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/18/207">section 207(e)(1)(A)</external-xref> of title 18, United States apply) more than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text> </subsection></section>
