<section id="H5E2E825E43C74095BFB0403C8681C445" section-type="section-one" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header>Prohibition of Federal funds for the design, renovation, construction, or rental of any headquarters for the United Nations in any location in the United States</header> 
<subsection id="H5F72210FE9D1492092EC1D8F2676B083"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Prohibition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">No Federal funds may be used for the design, renovation, construction, or rental of any headquarters for the United Nations in any location in the United States.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HB17CCF3190914762B8EE139B6B5C72F7"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Exception</header><text>Subsection (a) shall cease to be effective if the President transmits to Congress a certification that the United Nations has adopted internationally-recognized best practices in contracting and procurement.</text></subsection></section>
