		<official-title>To prevent any individual who has been convicted of a
		  sexual offense involving a minor from serving in the Department of the Interior
		  or the Department of Agriculture.</official-title>

		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H39058D9CBEC14139904DF5EB7866A5AD" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Preventing the Endangerment of
			 Children on Recreational Lands by Sexual Violators
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H2997B2097E0C45500063F8FD4357A0D5"><enum>2.</enum><header>Restriction</header>
			<subsection id="H9775AB7C7964409100BA0047CD8E12E4"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>An individual convicted by a Federal, State, or local
			 court of competent jurisdiction of a sexual offense involving a minor shall
			 not, after the date as of which that conviction becomes or became final, be
			 eligible to serve in the Department of the Interior or the Department of
			 Agriculture, including on a contract basis.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H7AFF319B743B494DB4C1E500DB3EC00"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Applicability</header><text>Nothing
			 in this section shall require the separation of any employee serving pursuant
			 to an appointment that took effect, or an individual whose services under
			 contract began, before the date of the enactment of this Act.</text>
