<section id="H1A14CD6D77E74FCBB8AC7300CE8C22DD" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Exclusion of certain laboratories from National Security Personnel System</header> 
<subsection id="H530410957BA148A7A35EAF1D8C07008E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/5/9902">Section 9902(c)(1)</external-xref> of title 5, United States Code, is amended by striking all that follows <quote>a laboratory under paragraph (2)</quote> and inserting a period.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H09CC730B2DBB4E9F91448DB046007E1C"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text>The amendment made by subsection (a) shall be effective as of the date of the enactment of this Act or September 30, 2008, whichever is earlier.</text> </subsection></section>
