		<official-title>To amend the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 to allow
		  community reinvestment credit for investments and other financial support to
		  enable veterans to purchase residential homes or to assist organizations with
		  the establishment of housing opportunities and assisted living facilities for
		  veterans.</official-title>

		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H2383E7F583574C518E3FC2A52B3E4F05" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>A Home for the Brave
			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="HD177F3645267407996F51D983046F9C6"><enum>2.</enum><header>Community
			 reinvestment credits for certain support for veterans</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 804 of the Community Reinvestment
			 Act of 1977 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/12/2903">12 U.S.C. 2903</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following new
			 subsection:</text>
			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H672CAFB57C2B4B5EB9FF00464DA33428" style="OLC">
				<subsection id="HE44EC662EFC9422FB449D23E3200916C"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Homes for
				veterans</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In assessing and
				taking into account, under subsection (a), the record of a financial
				institution, the appropriate Federal financial supervisory agency shall
				consider, as a factor, capital investments, low interest loans, loan
				participation, technical assistance, and grants by the institution to support
				or enable—</text>
					<paragraph id="HC36805DCD33241808E9FEBE79F046DDE"><enum>(1)</enum><text>any veteran (as
				such term is defined in <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/38/101">section 101</external-xref> of title 38, United States Code) to
				purchase a home for use as the principal residence of the veteran; and</text>
					</paragraph><paragraph id="H7806E9FB33A1451185EBB7C4F11D9C8"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">any entity that is establishing housing
				opportunities or assisted living facilities for veterans to carry out such
				activities.</text>
