		<official-title>To reinstate the prohibition on the possession or
		  transfer of large capacity ammunition feeding devices, and to strengthen that
		  prohibition.</official-title>

		<section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H82EF2061BF0042F990005231976E005C" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Anti-Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act of
			 2007</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H10E6AAE896AC4D5D90CEF8C0548940AB" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Reinstatement of
			 repealed criminal provisions relating to large capacity ammunition feeding
			 devices</header>
			<subsection id="H035C150C03D7420DB73407DDCD1BF53"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Reinstatement of
			 provisions wholly repealed</header><text>Sections 921(a)(31) and 922(w), and
			 the last sentence of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/18/923">section 923(i)</external-xref> of title 18, United States Code, as in
			 effect just before the repeal made by section 110105(2) of the
			 <act-name parsable-cite="VCCLEA94">Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement
			 Act of 1994</act-name>, are hereby enacted into law.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H36D105B63DA04D1F9955EACF0C88826"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Reinstatement of
			 provision partially repealed</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline"><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/18/924">Section 924(a)(1)</external-xref> of title 18, United
			 States Code, is amended by striking subparagraph (B) and inserting the
			 following:</text>

					<subparagraph id="H6DD8C73B306D43BD9549004117A9DACB" indent="up1"><enum>(B)</enum><text>knowingly violates subsection (a)(4),
				(f), (k), (r), or (w) of section
				922;</text>
					</subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection></section><section id="H47ACE7E2F4A64399BD22D06FFC7FF5D5"><enum>3.</enum><header>Strengthening the
			 ban on the possession or transfer of a large capacity ammunition feeding
			 device</header>
			<subsection id="H3A59164F44004936964227FE568CAC71"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Ban on transfer
			 of semiautomatic assault weapon with large capacity ammunition feeding
			 device</header>
				<paragraph id="HAF0D4C3D012145D5B41660DF15716CA6"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/18/922">Section 922</external-xref> of title 18, United States Code, is amended
			 by inserting after subsection (z) the following:</text>
					<quoted-block id="H647B4DC2480B4D6393B6EFD3012E91DA">
						<subsection id="H35EAE5BFC41E4123823387006FC6D035"><enum>(aa)</enum><text>It shall be
				unlawful for any person to transfer a semiautomatic assault weapon with a large
				capacity ammunition feeding
				device.</text>
						</subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H853963E723D947A48781A16791A9787C"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Definition of
			 semiautomatic assault weapon</header><text>Section 921(a)(30) and Appendix A of
			 <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/18/922">section 922</external-xref> of title 18, United States Code, as in effect just before the
			 repeal made by section 110105(2) of the <act-name parsable-cite="VCCLEA94">Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of
			 1994</act-name>, are hereby enacted into law.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="HF9990ED5255B4DDC86A5F137A863C65"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Penalties</header><text>Section
			 924(a) of such title is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
					<quoted-block id="H35F2BEB264FB41A8B68C00357DEA64F8">
						<paragraph id="HCB30B3060BF84B9DB55DD4264E40D973" indent="up1"><enum>(8)</enum><text>Whoever knowingly violates section
				922(aa) shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or
				both.</text>
						</paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HC01A91BECA9A4677B1C22EAC0006255"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Certification
			 requirement</header>
				<paragraph id="H44A438AAAA0F4D6AB1B2A4E70000FA04"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Section 922(w) of such title, as added by section 2(a) of
			 this Act, is amended—</text>
					<subparagraph id="HCB9CCB59ACA04308B47BC862162B7414"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in paragraph
			 (3)—</text>
						<clause id="HA7DDBC0F3D164A1D9B03C552E8E6EA88"><enum>(i)</enum><text>by
			 adding <quote>or</quote> at the end of subparagraph (B); and</text>
						</clause><clause id="HA072F77C407949CFA4CDDBC63C32317"><enum>(ii)</enum><text>by
			 striking subparagraph (C) and redesignating subparagraph (D) as subparagraph
			 (C); and</text>
						</clause></subparagraph><subparagraph id="HBE19C42C7E4F4B6D88B7C048005296B5"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking
			 paragraph (4) and inserting the following:</text>
						<quoted-block id="HFF82ED7D6B504B47BBA345AC0908B9B1">
							<paragraph id="H4AC97306632A43C7B2570793B075DD86" indent="up1"><enum>(4)</enum><text>It shall be unlawful for a licensed
				manufacturer, licensed importer, or licensed dealer who transfers a large
				capacity ammunition feeding device that was manufactured on or before the date
				of the enactment of this subsection, to fail to certify to the Attorney General
				before the end of the 60-day period that begins with the date of the transfer,
				in accordance with regulations prescribed by the Attorney General, that the
				device was manufactured on or before the date of the enactment of this
				subsection.</text>
							</paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
					</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph id="H1876E3F9445E422F86956CE27E15E023"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Penalties</header><text>Section
			 924(a) of such title, as amended by subsection (a)(3) of this section, is
			 amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
					<quoted-block id="H6AFE4CDC74344A22A99D6280087E67E4">
						<paragraph id="HD3ABBB43AE044223AB977B95E04BE9DD" indent="up1"><enum>(9)</enum><text>Whoever knowingly violates section
				922(w)(4) shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or
				both.</text>
						</paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
