<official-title>To provide that no funds made available to the Department of the Treasury may be used to implement, administer, or enforce regulations to require specific licenses for travel-related transactions directly related to educational activities in Cuba.</official-title>

<section id="HC148DBD93C7047A19B99CE33894E86A1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Pursuit of International Education (PIE) Act of 2007</short-title></quote>. </text> </section> 
<section id="H9034FB797AC94F68B1BA4F317DD56202" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Limitation on use of funds to implement, administer, or enforce regulations to require specific licenses for travel-related transactions directly related to educational activities in Cuba</header> 
<subsection id="HDC67D8F519844C5C9709ADA6E3B0000"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Limitation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">No funds made available to the Department of the Treasury may be used to implement, administer, or enforce the amendments made to paragraphs (a) and (b) of <external-xref legal-doc="regulation" parsable-cite="cfr/31/515.565">section 515.565</external-xref> of title 31, Code of Federal Regulations (relating to specific licenses for United States academic institutions and other specific licenses), as published in the Federal Register on June 16, 2004 (69 Fed. Reg. 33772).</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="HEC6640CC03B34FD6B2D145884927D6A2"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Exception</header><text>The limitation in subsection (a) shall not apply to the implementation, administration, or enforcement of <external-xref legal-doc="regulation" parsable-cite="cfr/31/515.560">section 515.560(c)(3)</external-xref> of title 31, Code of Federal Regulations.</text></subsection></section>
