<official-title>To amend the National Labor Relations Act to clarify the definition of <quote>supervisor</quote> for purposes of such Act.</official-title>

<section id="H7B1982C422E84284BCC6B0C8C79EDF4" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Re-Empowerment of Skilled and Professional Employees and Construction Tradesworkers (RESPECT) Act</short-title></quote>. </text></section> 
<section id="H3079FB21BCB145BC9FF029D3CC96A45F"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definition of supervisor</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2(11) of the National Labor Relations Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/152">29 U.S.C. 152(11)</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HAD605B4B86234403A26BB77CEF3615CE"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by inserting <quote>and for a majority of the individual’s worktime</quote> after <quote>interest of the employer</quote>;</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HB583F928826042A49DFC65BCE6F38E77"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking <quote>assign,</quote>; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H3B508582330549EA9CD696F50026BAC9"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by striking <quote>or responsibility to direct them,</quote>.</text> </paragraph></section>
