<section id="HDB3AC6E64135420D83C537A94F88F6A2" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short Title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Leadership PAC Limitation Act</short-title></quote>. </text></section> 
<section id="H379845A4D468485F934F9F60D00018BF" section-type="subsequent-section" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>2.</enum><header>Prohibiting Conversion of Leadership PAC Funds to Personal Use</header> 
<subsection id="H268B29EDFA374BFE00157D8CB51CC9C2"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Prohibition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 313(b)(2) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/2/439">2 U.S.C. 439(b)(2)</external-xref>) is amended by inserting after <quote>subsection (a)</quote> the following: <quote>or funds of a leadership PAC described in paragraph (3)</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H71BAF6E879234BB2BF3FC46362D3171B"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Leadership PAC Defined</header><text>Section 313(b) of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/2/439a">2 U.S.C. 439a(b)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph:</text> 
<quoted-block style="OLC" id="H4A7BB8D5EED44B6A9B96231E7DE058A5" display-inline="no-display-inline"> 
<paragraph id="H6B9B67E86625418FAC46B97A271AE15"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Leadership PAC defined</header><text>In this subsection, the term <term>leadership PAC</term> means a political committee which is directly or indirectly established, maintained, or controlled by a candidate for election for Federal office or an individual holding Federal office but is not an authorized committee of the candidate or individual, except that such term does not include any political committee of a political party.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection></section> 
<section id="H78CF55BF977E47BAB3AD9BF4061CD80"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective Date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The amendments made by this Act shall apply with respect to elections occurring on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></section>
