		<official-title>To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to repeal the
		  alternative minimum tax on corporations.</official-title>

		<section id="H36DFF4F9A8CB4CB1B545F7F84DF01D2F" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the
			 <quote><short-title>Corporate AMT Repeal</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="H268E4F41C03F4ED190D8495F7D73D773"><enum>2.</enum><header>Repeal of
			 alternative minimum tax on corporations</header>
			<subsection id="H4545E8138BE849498B66B0D1061B6D"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Subsection (a) of section 55 of the Internal Revenue Code
			 of 1986 (relating to alternative minimum tax imposed) is amended by adding at
			 the end the following new flush sentence:</text>
				<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H98ABBBF1E8964EB0A5A56403CA0758FB" style="OLC">
					<quoted-block-continuation-text quoted-block-continuation-text-level="section">Except in
				the case of a corporation, no tax shall be imposed by this section for any
				taxable year beginning after December 31, 2006, and the tentative minimum tax
				for any such taxable year of any taxpayer which is a corporation shall be zero
				for purposes of this
				title.</quoted-block-continuation-text><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H7E73CD8F92144939B4C2D92563F00A5"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text>The amendment made by this section shall apply to taxable
			 years beginning after December 31, 2006.</text>
