		<section id="H1748F9DBD28E487AAC2D06D9E57ED8B5" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Payment of certain judicial
			 survivor annuities</header>
			<subsection id="H0B7E6F82840147288473A50413008D94"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 General</header><text>Paragraph (2) of <external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/28/376">section 376(h)</external-xref> of title 28, United
			 States Code, shall not apply with respect to the payment of an annuity to any
			 individual described under subsection (b) of this section, which would
			 otherwise be payable (but for the operation of such paragraph).</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="H8185C6084C304BFF865817875C2EA8E9"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Individuals</header><text>An
			 individual referred to under subsection (a) is any individual who—</text>
				<paragraph id="H4FCFED393D824356BC310099D8F71743"><enum>(1)</enum><text>became a widow on
			 the death of her spouse on July 14, 1987;</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H1AC42293244048B1A449D54E2576A21E"><enum>(2)</enum><text>was remarried on
			 October 20, 1990; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="H8E9CEE278A4640E8B7C9EA3B4C198782"><enum>(3)</enum><text>again became a
			 widow on the death of her spouse on February 11, 2004.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection></section><section id="H195299E2BC284EF780D57C56602033A6"><enum>2.</enum><header>Effective
			 date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act shall take
			 effect as of October 20, 1990.</text>
