RES. 4 IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES February 14, 2005 Mr. Conrad (for himself, Mr. Thomas, Mr. Baucus, Mr. Salazar, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Dorgan, Mr. Reid, Mr. Bingaman, and Mr. Domenici) introduced the following joint resolution; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry JOINT RESOLUTION Providing for congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by the Department of Agriculture under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, relating to risk zones for introduction of bovine spongiform encephalopathy.

That Congress disapproves the rule submitted by the Department of Agriculture relating to the establishment of minimal risk zones for introduction of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (published at 70 Fed. Reg. 460 (2005)), and such rule shall have no force or effect.
