		  Center as a critical access facility and to provide funds for that

		<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the

			 <quote><short-title>Albuquerque Indian Health Center Act

			 of 2005</short-title></quote>.</text>

		</section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idB07D1F3C2A064FB1B98290D144F8B165" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Critical access

			 facility funding</header>

			<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idCF26458DB8E94D3BB8D8DE2EC4B93FE2"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Definition of

			 critical access facility</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In

			 this section, the term <term>critical access facility</term> means a

			 comprehensive ambulatory care center that provides services on a regional basis

			 to Native Americans in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and surrounding areas.</text>

			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id4C714BB2EBB44BF4A2E2628C380CAD09"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Designation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Albuquerque Indian Health Center (also

			 known as the <quote>Albuquerque Indian Hospital</quote>) is designated as a

			 critical access facility.</text>

			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id02AE1C51E6814E7CB84A18F0DB26D2DF"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Operations</header>

				<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id005C32D48DBC486C82BAEBB7678CE1EE"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In

			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary of

			 Health and Human Services, acting through the Indian Health Service, shall

			 provide funds made available under subsection (d) to the Albuquerque Indian

			 Health Center to carry out the operations of that Health Center.</text>

				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id25419772E7124C2B84B10471FF70C19F"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Self-determination

			 contracts</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The funds

			 transferred under paragraph (1) shall not be distributed to any Indian tribe

			 under section 102 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act

			 (25 U.S.C. 450f).</text>

				</paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idE8B66FB984954BA2A9EB14A3443B1E3F"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Funding</header>

				<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idB23A6E735C054F3B9204016DC3C00EA1"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In

			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">On October 1, 2005,

			 out of any funds in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the Secretary of

			 the Treasury shall transfer to the Secretary of Health and Human Services to

			 carry out this section $8,000,000, to remain available until expended.</text>

				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="IDDDDB9AFAA4B2435EB9C6E3EA8D700BC2"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Receipt and

			 acceptance</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Secretary

			 shall be entitled to receive, shall accept, and shall use to carry out this

			 section the funds transferred under paragraph (1), without further

			 appropriation.</text>
