		<section id="ID84040F89DCCE40A59616E5B3805DDCD6" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the

			 <quote><short-title>Upper White Salmon Wild and Scenic

			 Rivers Act</short-title></quote>.</text>

		</section><section id="ID1215BECA551B4830B00095DDDD8B2A69"><enum>2.</enum><header>Upper white

			 salmon wild and scenic river</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 3(a) of the Wild and Scenic Rivers

			 Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/16/1274(a)">16 U.S.C.

			 1274(a)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>

				<paragraph id="ID4F5E6A728C98461C99E5DE5F2B5C1ABA"><enum>(___)</enum><text><header-in-text>White

				Salmon River, Washington</header-in-text>.—The 20 miles of river segments of

				the main stem of the White Salmon River and Cascade Creek, Washington, to be

				administered by the Secretary of Agriculture in the following

				classifications:</text>

					<subparagraph id="ID2AC7B53F96E9490BB9980C8D8C3AABFB"><enum>(A)</enum><text>The approximately

				1.6-mile segment of the main stem of the White Salmon River from the headwaters

				on Mount Adams in section 17, township 8 north, range 10 east, downstream to

				the Mount Adams wilderness boundary as a wild river.</text>

					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="ID3321705FD9B54966B7B45B8BE943ABD6"><enum>(B)</enum><text>The approximately

				5.1-mile segment of Cascade Creek from its headwaters on Mount Adams in section

				10, township 8 north, range 10 east, downstream to the Mount Adams Wilderness

				boundary as a wild river.</text>

					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="IDB97EC98BD78940B89B005087BABA9312"><enum>(C)</enum><text>The approximately

				1.5-mile segment of Cascade Creek from the Mount Adams Wilderness boundary

				downstream to its confluence with the White Salmon River as a scenic

				river.</text>

					</subparagraph><subparagraph id="IDA382BD9552704D42A365DF0C21796C65"><enum>(D)</enum><text>The approximately

				11.8-mile segment of the main stem of the White Salmon River from the Mount

				Adams Wilderness boundary downstream to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest

				boundary as a scenic river.</text>

					</subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>

		</section><section id="ID3319805F211149F0AA3819865077704C"><enum>3.</enum><header>Authorization of

			 appropriations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">There are

			 authorized to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to carry out this

			 Act.</text>
