		<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the

			 <quote><short-title>Lower Farmington River and Salmon

			 Brook Wild and Scenic River Study Act of 2005</short-title></quote>.</text>

		</section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idA31CDD40D937497B99B858986C577A81" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Designation of

			 additional segment of Farmington River and Salmon Brook in Connecticut for

			 study for potential addition to national wild and scenic rivers system</header>

			<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id03723610FD5541B3B50DAF7D229C5CBC"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Designation</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 5(a) of the Wild and Scenic Rivers

			 Act (16 U.S.C. 1276(a)) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>

					<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id3E810AA3F9AE44B98E769D71F71B6FE2"><enum>(139)</enum><header>Lower

				Farmington River and Salmon Brook, Connecticut</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The segment of the Farmington River

				downstream from the segment designated as a recreational river by section

				3(a)(156) to its confluence with the Connecticut River, and the segment of the

				Salmon Brook including its mainstream and east and west

				branches.</text>

					</subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>

			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idAE144B293DCC4FB49A3AAF8375ADB9C6"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Time for

			 submission</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 3

			 years after the date

			 <deleted-phrase committee-id="SSEG00" reported-display-style="strikethrough">of

			 enactment of</deleted-phrase><added-phrase committee-id="SSEG00" reported-display-style="italic"> on which funds are made available to carry

			 out</added-phrase> this Act, the Secretary of the Interior shall submit to

			 Congress a report containing the results of the study required by the amendment

			 made by subsection (a).</text>

			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idAFF274270D824DD0988105424622AB89"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Authorization

			 of Appropriations</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">There are

			 authorized to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to carry out this

			 Act.</text>
