			 <quote><short-title>Impact Aid Update Act of
			 2006</short-title></quote>.</text>

			 Aid special payments</header>
			<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H001CB6DCC6714AAEA11788CD65EBE54"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 8002 of the
			 Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 7702) is amended in
			 subsection (i)(1)—</text>
				<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HC38DEB9B957C4C18980068B962EA5200"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking <quote>1997</quote> and
			 inserting <quote>2003</quote>; and</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H97F2DBD6E7B04658839533B77CAA5043"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking <quote>1996)</quote> and
			 inserting <quote>2002)</quote>.</text>

			 applicability</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendments
			 made by this section apply retroactively to all of fiscal year 2006.</text>
