		<official-title>To provide for the sale of approximately 132 acres of
		  public land to the City of Green River, Wyoming, at fair market
		  value.</official-title>

		<section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short
			 title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as
			 the <quote><short-title>City of Green River Land
			 Conveyance Act</short-title></quote>.</text>
		</section><section id="id0F23A4742E044FA98C79516983F3437C"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text>
			<paragraph id="id9B07F2C029AD472A935047EFD8835040"><enum>(1)</enum><header>City</header><text>The
			 term <quote>City</quote> means the City of Green River, Wyoming.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="id60CECB0524D14E81A473298EB1A6A1C7"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Map</header><text>The
			 term <term>map</term> means the map prepared by the Secretary entitled
			 <quote>Green River, Wyoming Land Conveyance Act</quote> and dated February 7,
			 2006.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="id229E3FB2EA6B46DDBED5D7B1C560D404"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Public
			 land</header><text>The term <term>public land</term> means approximately 132
			 acres of Federal land managed by the Secretary and depicted on the map as
			 <quote>Lands to be conveyed to the City of Green River, Wyoming</quote>.</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="id66F74B6D17594BB3B58462A5F35FCC5B"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The
			 term <term>Secretary</term> means the Secretary of the Interior, acting through
			 the Bureau of Land Management.</text>
			</paragraph></section><section id="id2F8C77244CDC4159B96B9511F72D48ED"><enum>3.</enum><header>Conveyance to
			 the City</header>
			<subsection id="id069D48AD5767491FBFF5BAEA1874AB1B"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Subject to valid existing rights, if the City submits to
			 the Secretary an offer to acquire the public land for the appraised value, the
			 Secretary shall<deleted-phrase committee-id="SSEG00" reported-display-style="strikethrough">, within 180 days after the date of the
			 offer,</deleted-phrase> convey to the City all right, title, and interest to
			 the public land.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="id1EADC2EDF99E454F981A77CA603B3DA9"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Appraisal</header>
				<paragraph id="id71475D8804F8400C9FDA6A0D4C0DFB9B"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In
			 general</header><text>Not later than 60 days after the date of enactment of
			 this Act, the Secretary shall complete an appraisal of the public land.</text>
				</paragraph><paragraph id="id98AB83595D2B4E0C90D6B90A759B8EB4"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Accordance with
			 uniform standards</header><text>The Secretary shall conduct the appraisal in
			 accordance with the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions
			 and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.</text>
				</paragraph></subsection><subsection id="idA3C835FA74FC479C81A3C32FB59ECE1E"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Payment</header><text>Not
			 later than 30 days after the date on which the public land is conveyed under
			 this section, the City shall pay to the Secretary an amount equal to the
			 appraised value of the public land, as determined under subsection (b).</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="id9729940D6EE74646AB51F8165F11B9B6"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Disposition of
			 proceeds</header><text>The Secretary shall deposit the proceeds from the sale
			 in the Federal Land Disposal Account established under section 206 of the
			 Federal Land Transaction Facilitation Act (43 U.S.C. 2305), to be expended in
			 accordance with that Act.</text>
			</subsection><subsection id="id7ABBD21E14B740D4AC8C2A53B167A39C"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Costs</header><text>The
			 City shall pay any cost associated with the conveyance of land under subsection
			 (a).</text>
			</subsection><subsection changed="added" committee-id="SSEG00" id="id1465F58849FF47DF8F0366486066964B" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>(f)</enum><header>Plan</header><text>The
			 conveyance of the public land under subsection (a) shall not require an
			 amendment to the Green River Resource Management Plan.</text>
			</subsection></section><section id="id1D2AD27955F441C3A0D765E31CB5C8F4"><enum>4.</enum><header>Segregation of
			 lands</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Except as provided in
			 section 3(a), effective immediately on the date of enactment of this Act and
			 subject to valid existing rights, the public land is withdrawn from—</text>
			<paragraph id="id68D5C8D469A14B788A1D42A98E46B56A"><enum>(1)</enum><text>all forms of
			 entry, appropriation, or disposal under the public land laws, including the
			 mining laws;</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="idEE0313FC393E40C1B0BF3E26BD128721"><enum>(2)</enum><text>location, entry,
			 and patenting under the mining laws; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="idB08A9701E6DA47D5B971F3185A93546D"><enum>(3)</enum><text>operation of the
			 mineral leasing, mineral materials, and geothermal leasing laws.</text>
			</paragraph></section></legis-body>
