			 term <quote>County</quote> means the County of Rio Arriba, New Mexico.</text>

			 land to rio arriba county, new mexico</header>

			<subsection changed="deleted" committee-id="SSEG00" id="id40E0430E19AB49B3A5DC9B40AEDF98B8" reported-display-style="strikethrough"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In

			 general</header><text>Subject to subsection (c), not later than 1 year after

			 the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall convey to the County,

			 all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land

			 (including any improvements to the land) described in subsection (b).</text>

			</subsection><subsection changed="deleted" committee-id="SSEG00" id="id93F5EF0F7B064D788BCA8E584EBB8606" reported-display-style="strikethrough"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Description of

			 land</header><text>The land referred to in subsection (a) consists of

			 approximately 150.86 acres of land located on the Sebastian Martin Land Grant

			 in the vicinity of Alcalde, Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, as depicted on the

			 map.</text>

			</subsection><subsection changed="deleted" committee-id="SSEG00" id="id036935848D0B44188E5D61F3AD8E6BC1" reported-display-style="strikethrough"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Conditions</header>

				<paragraph changed="deleted" committee-id="SSEG00" id="id472A002049FF475B8B36D7F18065C07E" reported-display-style="strikethrough"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In

			 general</header><text>The land conveyed under subsection (a) shall be treated

			 as public land for the purposes of the Act of June 14, 1926 (commonly known as

			 the <quote>Recreation and Public Purposes Act</quote>) (43 U.S.C. 869 et

			 seq.)</text>

				</paragraph><paragraph changed="deleted" committee-id="SSEG00" id="ID255bdac5ed394a42a952c33cf2392025" reported-display-style="strikethrough"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Consideration</header><text>The

			 amount of consideration for the conveyance of land under subsection (a) shall

			 be determined by the Secretary consistent with section 2(a) of the Act of June

			 14, 1926 (commonly known as the <quote>Recreation and Public Purposes

			 Act</quote>) (43 U.S.C. 869–1(a)).</text>

				</paragraph><paragraph changed="deleted" committee-id="SSEG00" id="id919BEAC232E54A3E8AC91FBB173CBCBD" reported-display-style="strikethrough"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Agreement</header><text>Before

			 conveying the land under subsection (a), the Secretary shall enter into an

			 agreement with the County that indemnifies the United States from all liability

			 of the United States arising from the land conveyed.</text>

			 <quote><short-title>Rio Arriba County Land Conveyance

			 Act</short-title></quote>.</text>

			 term <term>County</term> means the County of Rio Arriba, New Mexico.</text>

			 term <term>map</term> means the map entitled <quote>Alcalde Proposed Land

			 Transfer</quote> and dated September 23, 2004.</text>

			</paragraph><paragraph changed="added" committee-id="SSEG00" id="IDc659ced77de442a0aace2195090d9822" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The

			 term <term>Secretary</term> means the Secretary of the Interior.</text>

			</paragraph></section><section changed="added" committee-id="SSEG00" id="IDd66850a05f6c4315bb56bc9d4e57c207" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>3.</enum><header>Conveyance of land to

			 rio arriba county, new mexico</header>

			<subsection changed="added" committee-id="SSEG00" id="IDeda95b3901b848cd94291b4dfb07fa09" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In

			 general</header><text>Subject to valid existing rights, the Secretary shall

			 convey to the County, without consideration, all right, title, and interest of

			 the United States in and to the land (including any improvements to the land)

			 described in subsection (b).</text>

			</subsection><subsection changed="added" committee-id="SSEG00" id="ID0de5b15332ea43408f0f78a263e28eda" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Description of

			 land</header><text>The land referred to in subsection (a) consists of

			 approximately 171 acres of land located on the Sebastian Martin Land Grant in

			 the vicinity of Alcalde, Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, as depicted on the

			 map.</text>

			</subsection><subsection changed="added" committee-id="SSEG00" id="IDc047a323e85046bc9cecd5cbfc6fec43" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Reversion</header><text>If

			 any portion of the land conveyed under subsection (a) ceases to be used for

			 public purposes the land shall, at the option of the Secretary, revert to the

			 United States.</text>

			</subsection><subsection changed="added" committee-id="SSEG00" id="ID5fdd3de3d3d042499505f9a5da3a1b18" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Conditions on

			 sales</header><text>If the County sells any portion of the land conveyed to the

			 County under subsection (a)—</text>

				<paragraph changed="added" committee-id="SSEG00" id="IDeabf1c00dc4046b59200ed8a56a36fc9" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the amount of

			 consideration for the sale shall reflect fair market value, as determined by an

			 appraisal; and</text>

				</paragraph><paragraph changed="added" committee-id="SSEG00" id="IDd6a103c92334475c9bf2c2c933f21cc3" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the County shall pay to

			 the Secretary an amount equal to the gross proceeds of the sale, for use by the

			 Director of the Bureau of Land Management in the State of New Mexico, without

			 further appropriation.</text>

				</paragraph></subsection><subsection changed="added" committee-id="SSEG00" id="ID0311bf3c90df44fa8924e1eedca3b192" reported-display-style="italic"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Costs</header><text>The

			 County shall pay any costs associated with the conveyance of land under

			 subsection (a).</text>
