		<official-title display="yes">To allow law enforcement officers to

		  represent themselves as minors on the Internet to better protect America's

		  children from sexual predators.</official-title>

		<section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idFF8048B0113C47B5A3943720CAA90BAB" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote>Stop

			 Online Predators Act</quote>.</text>

		</section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idF82697ECCC784BAC870BE1124F1A9EF9" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Coercion and

			 enticement</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2422(b) of

			 title 18, United States Code, is amended to read as follows:</text>

			<quoted-block display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id849214C38CA74784A178FEAC59782122" style="OLC">

				<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id144BBA166F954EA4A875CF3C65F80BB5"><enum>(b)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Whoever, using the mail or any facility or

				means of interstate or foreign commerce, or within the special maritime or

				territorial jurisdiction of the United States—</text>

					<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id4C1470BE92E845638C8D5CE847174065"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">knowingly persuades, induces, entices, or

				coerces any individual to engage in prostitution or any sexual activity for

				which any person can be charged with a criminal offense, if such

				individual—</text>

						<subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id4A6BDC949E584DFD8E7C2F29A9971051"><enum>(A)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">has not attained the age of 18 years;

				or</text>

						</subparagraph><subparagraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idA95F5D511B244388857B0A141CEDD4DC"><enum>(B)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">has been represented to the person as being

				an individual who has not attained the age of 18 years; or</text>

						</subparagraph></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id083381CE84E148F3BF1878352C3E6945"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">attempts to do so;</text>

					</paragraph><continuation-text commented="no" continuation-text-level="subsection">shall be fined under this title and

				imprisoned not less than 5 years and not more than 30

				years.</continuation-text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block>
