			 <quote><short-title>OTC Medicine Tax Fairness Act of

			 2005</short-title></quote>.</text>

			 drugs limitation on deduction for medical care</header>

			<subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID1D84927FA462425EBD9CC2B69E31F335"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In

			 general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 213 of the

			 Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (relating to medical, dental, etc., expenses) is

			 amended by striking subsection (b).</text>

			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID711DD8CB7DE14C888142BE3CB2B0A24F"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming

			 amendment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 213(d) of

			 such Code is amended by striking paragraph (3).</text>

			</subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="ID7FFD6ED4DC55476088302ADA2948E639"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective

			 date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendments made by

			 this section shall apply to taxable years beginning after the date of the

			 enactment of this Act.</text>
