<section display-inline="yes-display-inline" section-type="undesignated-section" id="H1E894FB8763245068496D0BC5829A19D"><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">That the House of Representatives requests that the President transmit to the House of Representatives, not later than 14 days after the date of the adoption of this resolution—</text> 
<paragraph id="H11A4591E8F7C44B887B207388D43435"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">copies of any portions of any contracts in his possession for services or building or other construction (including pre-awarded contracts or contracts that were modified or extended) related to Hurricane Katrina recovery or rebuilding that address wages and benefits to be paid to workers pursuant to the Act commonly known as the Davis-Bacon Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/40/3141">40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq.</external-xref>), the Service Contract Act of 1965 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/41/351">41 U.S.C. 351 et seq.</external-xref>), or the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/201">29 U.S.C. 201 et seq.</external-xref>) that were awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (or at the request of such agency) or by the Departments of Labor, Education, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, or Defense, or the Army Corps of Engineers; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H95B33C916168414FBDEA375D58298563"><enum>(2)</enum><text>any communications in his possession made or received, on or after August 26, 2005, by the Federal Emergency Management Agency or by the Departments of Labor, Education, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, or Defense, or the Army Corps of Engineers, related to compliance with or enforcement of the Act commonly known as the Davis-Bacon Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/40/3141">40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq.</external-xref>), the Service Contract Act of 1965 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/41/351">41 U.S.C. 351 et seq.</external-xref>), or the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/29/201">29 U.S.C. 201 et seq.</external-xref>) in the geographic areas specified in the President’s Proclamation 7924 of September 8, 2005.</text></paragraph></section>
