RES. 386 [Report No. 109–186] IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES July 26, 2005 Mr. Dreier, from the Committee on Rules, reported the following resolution; which was referred to the House Calendar and ordered to be printed RESOLUTION Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 3045) to implement the Dominican Republic-Central America-United States Free Trade Agreement.

That upon the adoption of this resolution it shall be in order to consider in the House the bill (H.R. 3045) to implement the Dominican Republic-Central America-United States Free Trade Agreement. All points of order against the bill and against its consideration are waived. The bill shall be considered as read. The bill shall be debatable for two hours equally divided and controlled by the chairman and ranking minority member of the Committee on Ways and Means. Pursuant to section 151 of the Trade Act of 1974, the previous question shall be considered as ordered on the bill to final passage without intervening motion.

2.During consideration of H.R. 3045 pursuant to this resolution, notwithstanding the operation of the previous question, the Chair may postpone further consideration of the bill to a time designated by the Speaker in consonance with section 151 of the Trade Act of 1974.

3.A motion to proceed to consideration of H.R. 3045 pursuant to section 151 of the Trade Act of 1974 shall be in order only if offered by the Majority Leader or his designee.
