		<whereas><text>Whereas vacations create long-lasting and invaluable
			 memories for families to share;</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas travel opens our minds and hearts to different
			 cultures, places, and people;</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas over <fraction>1/3</fraction> of employed adults
			 in the United States reported feeling better about their jobs and feeling more
			 productive upon returning from vacation;</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas travel contributes significantly to the global
			 economy, generating $1.3 trillion in economic activity every year in the United
			 States, significantly contributing to the economy of the State of Nevada where
			 <fraction>2/3</fraction> of every dollar spent is due to the tourism
			 industry;</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas travel and tourism is among the largest 3
			 employers in 29 States and the District of Columbia, creating 7.3 million jobs;
			 and</text>
		</whereas><whereas><text>Whereas online travel companies help more than 50 million
			 travelers per year easily plan and book travel accommodations by demonstrating
			 an unwavering commitment to customer service and innovation: Now, therefore, be
			 it</text>
		</whereas></preamble>
	<resolution-body id="H3D36CA6C44404B46849DAAF7D04C7441" style="traditional">
		<section display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="H9E1BDFCA09864B9CB0DE640740ED9549" section-type="undesignated-section"><enum></enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">That the House of Representatives—</text>
			<paragraph id="HAA431A8E4BDE41A7833DC9FCCF437CE4"><enum>(1)</enum><text>supports the goals
			 and ideas of a <quote>National Plan Your Vacation Day</quote>; and</text>
			</paragraph><paragraph id="HA53B9B6CD8EB4CC081C158B10671367E"><enum>(2)</enum><text>requests the
			 President to issue a proclamation calling upon the people of the United States
			 to observe the day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.</text>
