<official-title>To direct the Secretary of Interior to convey certain land held in trust for the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah to the City of Richfield, Utah, and for other purposes.</official-title>

<section section-type="section-one" id="H640BC783BB974158B4D3278BB64CF8C" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header>Land conveyance to City</header>
<subsection id="H4BE725E2D0E043739EA164A95E229657"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Authorization for conveyance</header><text>Not later than 90 days after the Secretary receives a request from the Tribe and the City to convey all right, title, and interest of the United States and the Tribe in and to the Property to the City, the Secretary shall take the Property out of trust status and convey the Property to the City.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="HCB76B7B86B634517B812E0C31725C600"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Terms and conditions</header><text>The conveyance under subsection (a) shall be subject to the following conditions:</text>
<paragraph id="H6D5A2A3528884508B2F22ED19A58190"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Tribal resolution</header><text>Prior to conveying the Property under subsection (a), the Secretary shall ensure that the terms of the sale have been approved by a tribal resolution of the Tribe.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="HEC9B11361C3C49719627A5184FFA00D9"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Consideration</header><text>Consideration given by the City for the Property shall be not less than the appraised fair market value of the Property.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H6DE6E0EA188141ECB1886F00C2143E58"><enum>(3)</enum><header>No federal cost</header><text>The City shall pay all costs related to the conveyance authorized under this section.</text></paragraph></subsection>
<subsection id="HE455993D1A804901ACAB9D99001E01A5"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Proceeds of sale</header><text>The proceeds from the conveyance of the Property under this section shall be given immediately to the Tribe.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="HB1D93D8CFF454278BF86E4E55EE51CE"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Failure to make conveyance</header><text>If after the Secretary takes the Property out of trust status pursuant to subsection (a) the City or the Tribe elect not to carry out the conveyance under that subsection, the Secretary shall take the Property back into trust for the benefit of the Tribe.</text></subsection></section>
<section id="H37A4278D60E84B47B2164F9237079D8C"><enum>2.</enum><header>Tribal reservation</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Land acquired by the United States in trust for the Tribe after February 17, 1984, shall be part of the Tribe’s reservation.</text></section>
<section id="H2EB2B2AA6F9B4A5D94316E775347A53D"><enum>3.</enum><header>Trust Land for Shivwits or Kanosh Bands</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">If requested to do so by a tribal resolution of the Tribe, the Secretary shall take land held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Tribe out of such trust status and take that land into trust for the Shivwits or Kanosh Bands of the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah, as so requested by the Tribe.</text></section>
<section id="HBFE135A727A64E2787B703302E71B48"><enum>4.</enum><header>Cedar Band of Paiutes technical correction</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah Restoration Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/25/761">25 U.S.C. 761</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>Cedar City</quote> each place it appears and inserting <quote>Cedar</quote>. Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the <quote>Cedar City Band of Paiute Indians</quote> shall be deemed to be a reference to the <quote>Cedar Band of Paiute Indians</quote>.</text></section>
<section id="H80B020FAF3F24EBD872E5925216C093B"><enum>5.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">For the purposes of this Act:</text>
<paragraph id="HB79E6D6DABCB4056A00078CF9EA3005E"><enum>(1)</enum><header>City</header><text>The term <term>City</term> means the City of Richfield, Utah.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H0DA998EC069F40D2B900317B7255D987"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Property</header><text>The term <term>Property</term> means the parcel of land held by the United States in trust for the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah located in Section 2, Township 24 South, Range 3 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, Sevier County, Utah and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East line of the Highway which is West 0.50 chains, more or less, and South 8° 21° West, 491.6 feet from the Northeast Corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 24 South, Range 3 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, and running thence South 81° 39° East, perpendicular to the highway, 528.0 feet; thence South 26° 31° West, 354.6 feet; thence North 63° 29° West, 439.3 feet to said highway; thence North 8° 21° East, along Easterly line of said highway 200.0 feet to the point of beginning, containing 3.0 acres more or less.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H615B1ABCDADB4AD9AF00E0C9EDDCCF4F"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The term <term>Secretary</term> means the Secretary of the Interior.</text></paragraph>
<paragraph id="H2B7A9F76AA2B45028C648BA07DD9A154"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Tribe</header><text>The term <term>Tribe</term> means the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah.</text></paragraph></section>
