<section id="H038398C1F92D4C55A2EE3174722721B8" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short Title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>House Staff Privacy Act</short-title></quote>. </text> </section> 
<section id="HBB8EE210A15D4DCB8334B76BE47EE468" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Removing Information on Staff Salaries From Public Reports on House Disbursements</header> 
<subsection id="H4FD6A3BC2D464FE3B4180000891B6DC"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Removal of Information</header><text>Section 106(b) of the House of Representatives Administrative Reform Technical Corrections Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/2/104b">2 U.S.C. 104b(b)</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H8B9CCFAE708341CD9F89E86909E1AA96"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1), by striking the semicolon at the end and inserting the following: <quote>, other than the name of any individual (other than a Member of the House of Representatives) who receives a disbursement for a salary;</quote>; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HF3D093CDB1EA4E568848DEB8ED502D7E"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in paragraph (3), by striking the semicolon at the end and inserting the following: <quote>, other than any individual (other than a Member of the House of Representatives) who renders a service for which the individual received a salary;</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="H1276DB29F18B4730B3F21B0060DC74F6"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Including Information on Aggregate Amount of Payments Made for Staff Salaries by Member Offices</header><text>Section 106(b) of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/2/104b">2 U.S.C. 104b(b)</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H04C35A03615F42449FE39E8634A22959"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>and</quote> at the end of paragraph (5);</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H6D6412D589BE4C028FEF67451C60DCF1"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by redesignating paragraph (6) as paragraph (7); and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HDEF8A8A464C843ACBCC59D596C578F43"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by inserting after paragraph (5) the following new paragraph:</text>

<paragraph id="H85B878CAA04E4ACE8F6288732969207E"><enum>(6)</enum><text>for each office of a Member of the House of Representatives, the aggregate amount of payments made for salaries of individuals employed by the office; and</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="H6B2083B8FD7E498B9F42AA588683B871"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Definition</header><text>Section 106 of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/2/104">2 U.S.C. 104(b)</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="H612C81F866F94391ACF7F8EF752B4D64"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating subsections (e) and (f) as subsections (f) and (g); and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HCBC33B5F790C45EB82CAB010B76851CD"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting after subsection (d) the following new subsection:</text>

<subsection id="H0D2E54D3DBC648D68780B1363933122F"><enum>(e)</enum><header>Definition</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">As used in this section, the term <term>Member of the House of Representatives</term> means a Representative in, or a Delegate or Resident Commissioner to, the Congress.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></subsection></section> 
<section id="HFFCAAB619C2646FF885002208CCFF211"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective Date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The amendments made by this Act shall apply with respect to reports for periods beginning on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text> </section>
