<official-title>To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to authorize appropriations for fiscal years 2005 through 2011 to carry out the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program.</official-title>

<section id="H71BB15B6B83744ED9BC82DB3B13F94B2" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>State Criminal Alien Assistance Program Reauthorization Act of 2005</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H95B9A39B91054C4A983F69BCF00E060"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations for fiscal years 2005 through 2011</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 241(i)(5) of the <act-name parsable-cite="INA">Immigration and Nationality Act</act-name> (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1231">8 U.S.C. 1231(i)(5)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>appropriated</quote> and all that follows through the period and inserting the following:</text> 
<quoted-block act-name="Immigration and Nationality Act" display-inline="yes-display-inline" id="HA328C97DCD6D4B5E86DED9D627394717"><text>appropriated to carry out this subsection—</text> 
<subparagraph id="H894C3F1B88B34D4DBB16D5E0194588E6"><enum>(A)</enum><text>such sums as may be necessary for fiscal year 2005;</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H4AFFAB128E5D4760BE675202CA77F09D"><enum>(B)</enum><text>$750,000,000 for fiscal year 2006;</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HF454A79418084EDAA1EDDEB18D6D9D81"><enum>(C)</enum><text>$850,000,000 for fiscal year 2007; and</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H106001E6BA1D4841A09884BB337D3E2"><enum>(D)</enum><text>$950,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2008 through 2011.</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section>
