<section id="H72A0B61167754ADE9483FE2B9AA4EF5" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Firearms trace system</header> 
<subsection id="HAF7089883D9340EC0052DAE95713B8E6"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Science, State, Justice, Commerce, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2006 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/109/108">Public Law 109–108</external-xref>; 119 Stat. 2295) is amended in title I, under the heading <quote><header-in-text level="paragraph" style="OLC">Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives</header-in-text></quote>, by striking <quote>:<italic> Provided further</italic>, That no funds appropriated under this or any other Act with respect to any fiscal year may be used to disclose part or all of the contents of the Firearms Trace System database</quote> and all that follows through <quote>section 921(a)(10) of such title):</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H806E6E34F53442729728470024F4C166"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Access to information</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The Attorney General shall provide public access to the Crime Gun Trace Report (both nationally and for individual cities) from the Youth Crime Gun Interdiction Initiative, which is generated using information in the Firearms Trace System database maintained by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.</text> </subsection></section>
