<section id="H53C2E599EC6E4E87829467E4A6BBEA67" section-type="section-one" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Physicians for Underserved Areas Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="HB20FE1522844462596637192CB6623C"><enum>2.</enum><header>Waiver of foreign country residence requirement with respect to international medical graduates</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 220(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Technical Corrections Act of 1994 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1182">8 U.S.C. 1182</external-xref> note; <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/103/416">Public Law 103–416</external-xref>) (as amended by section 1(a)(1) of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/108/441">Public Law 108–441</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>June 1, 2006.</quote> and inserting <quote>June 1, 2008.</quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="HE358E8DBFF9B409AAFE666B6005CE100"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The amendment made by section 2 shall take effect as if enacted on May 31, 2006.</text></section>
