<section id="H26FF664967574EAC924CDA2A45CBE65" section-type="section-one" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>1.</enum><header>Additional place of holding court; designation of judges</header> 
<subsection id="HA6DB3C1D8A5F461A867B69B62DB336AA"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Eastern district of California</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/28/84">Section 84(b)</external-xref> of title 28, United States Code, is amended in the second sentence by inserting <quote>Bakersfield,</quote> after <quote>shall be held at</quote>.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H63463459688B4F429C78216984265000"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Designation of judges</header> 
<paragraph id="H8B0BC6485BBC46C3AE95DF00C9D23C07"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Bakersfield</header><text>The chief judge of the eastern district of California shall designate 1 district judge whose official duty station shall be in Bakersfield, California and who shall hold court for such district in Bakersfield, California.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H82A84BAF8926420BA32FC69193228635"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Redding</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The chief judge of the eastern district of California shall designate another district judge whose official duty station shall be in Redding, California and who shall hold court for such district in Redding, California.</text></paragraph></subsection></section>
