<official-title>To direct the Secretary of the Interior to convey certain Bureau of Land Management land to the City of Eugene, Oregon.</official-title>

<section id="HC22842CF4A7C4C7184F7E91E00B7B8B8" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Eugene Land Conveyance Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H286561522DC74B3AB6837F00238F7225"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text> 
<paragraph id="H90AC7F33944F4817819FB5001B4B2819"><enum>(1)</enum><header>City</header><text>The term <quote>City</quote> means the city of Eugene, Oregon.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H2D4DAB7C0C4F489CB26863F5938643A9"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The term <quote>Secretary</quote> means the Secretary of the Interior.</text></paragraph></section> 
<section id="H1DCE31C4E0374E7491C7DB31007509C1"><enum>3.</enum><header>Conveyance to the city of eugene, oregon</header> 
<subsection id="H63258EA7764D456EA6942E2843CECE43"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In General</header><text>Not later than 60 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall convey to the City, without consideration and subject to all valid existing rights, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the land described in subsection (b)(1) for the purposes of—</text> 
<paragraph id="H79BCBF1F6079433E8C1CC6DC16A273C0"><enum>(1)</enum><text>establishing a wildlife viewing area; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H230CD02BC841423BA1862063A9AD3AE"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the construction and operation of an environmental education center.</text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="HFB5A4DEA927940D786E726D6044F2F95"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Description of Land</header> 
<paragraph id="HCBA077235E8A4BD9819520AAC6BF5FA"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The land referred to in subsection (a) is the parcel of approximately 12 acres of land under the administrative jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management in Lane County, Oregon, as depicted on the map entitled <quote>Red House Property</quote> and dated April 11, 2005.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H33787C3B89C041AEB6FD62DFF2D57490"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Survey</header> 
<subparagraph id="H24CA78D8A70149D9984915B792D31D4"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text>The exact acreage and legal description of the land described in paragraph (1) shall be determined by a survey acceptable to the Secretary, including an existing survey.</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HF32D61A87DCD4AC3A279ECDCA856BC5F"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Cost</header><text>If the Secretary determines that a new survey of the land is required, the City shall be responsible for paying the cost of the survey.</text></subparagraph></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="HE7106E57A4C94588A73B4DFCEAFDF3DC"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Reversion</header> 
<paragraph id="HD583AB27BFC447B58771F5CC006B5399"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>If the Secretary determines that the land conveyed under subsection (a) is not being used for the purposes described in that subsection—</text> 
<subparagraph id="H3A609D0B11C645BC9745D88D3FCAC4F7"><enum>(A)</enum><text>all right, title, and interest in and to the land (including any improvements to the land) shall revert to the United States; and</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H43B74000FBAA4D60ACF9B2E21B15F6C0"><enum>(B)</enum><text>the United States shall have the right of immediate entry to the land.</text></subparagraph></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HF3A2AA18B8AC4A338D974008E756F45E"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Hearing</header><text>Any determination of the Secretary under paragraph (1) shall be made on the record after an opportunity for a hearing.</text></paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="HCBA5D9169902468C9842CBDBE5EDFF9B"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Additional Terms and Conditions</header><text>The Secretary may require such additional terms and conditions for the conveyance under subsection (a) as the Secretary determines to be appropriate to protect the interests of the United States.</text></subsection></section>
