<section id="H69254832120A434994B48F985D9BF989" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Elimination of time limitation for corrections to wage and self-employment income records</header> 
<subsection id="HDDD7A1425D6E45259C635CB859E86917"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Section 205(c)(4) of the Social Security Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/405">42 U.S.C. 405(c)(4)</external-xref>) is amended to read as follows:</text>

<paragraph id="H2164BF8870464D418494D427BC1CF4E0" indent="up1"><enum>(4)</enum><text>If it is brought to the Commissioner’s attention that any entry of wages or self-employment income in the Commissioner’s records is erroneous or that any item of wages or self-employment income has been omitted from such records, the Commissioner may correct such entry or include such omitted item in such records, as the case may be.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> 
<subsection id="H1CC2B98ABF9D4490A972ECE63D6266F3"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming amendments</header><text>Section 205(c) of such Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/405">42 U.S.C. 405(c)</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HE16CE7ECF9DD4558B945160050FF4927"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1), by striking subparagraph (B) and redesignating subparagraphs (C) and (D) as subparagraphs (B) and (C), respectively; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H0810E0DA67E74EF19C4CAC0592E52703"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking paragraphs (5) and (6) and redesignating paragraphs (7), (8), and (9) as paragraphs (5), (6), and (7), respectively.</text></paragraph></subsection></section> 
<section id="HAAA273A4634E4D42AFE0CCDFA97667A"><enum>2.</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The amendments made by this Act shall apply with respect to errors or omissions occurring before, on, or after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text> </section>
